Encounter-Ministries goal is To Cast Nets & Make Disciples. To be fishers of men, women & children who need to Encounter Jesus Christ & need to Encounter breakthrough in their lives.
We want to do this Through The Power of Worship by providing event based opportunities that drives UNITY in our communities, fellowship, discipleship & revival for Glory of God!
Worship
Our desire is to see people encounter the power of God through worship! In obedience to the prompting of the Holy Spirit; we worship God, based on the truth of who He is, the truth of who we are, and the truth of how He is moving in the world around us. When we worship in Spirit and Truth, it changes the atmosphere, it confuses the enemy and it breaks strongholds. “ Through Jesus, Therefore, Let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of Praise; The fruit of our lips that openly profess His name
Mission
Our Mission is to use events to reach people and allow them to Encounter God and welcomes them into a relationship with Christ!
As people Encounter a personal relationship with Christ, We want to walk with new believers & other Christians to disciple them in their journey with the Lord so they can therefore disciple more people in Christ. - [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age. "
Unity
Our goal is to foster unity in the body of Christ so the world may encounter Jesus Christ. In John chapter 17 Jesus prayer to God the Father verse 21 He prays that they be one in Us, that the world may believe you sent Me. The church of Jesus is composed of people of every walk of life. We have a common purpose of proclaiming the Gospel and pursuing God's Kingdom agenda. Our effectiveness is determined by our unity. We are called to serve the Lord in unity so that the love and Glory of our Trinitarian God is visibly and powerfully manifested to a watching world. It's not about titles and denominations. It's about being united so the world may believe in Jesus!
Discipleship
We believe Jesus is calling us to wash the feet of the men and women who He is calling to serve His body in these last days. We are doing this by partnering with local churches and five-fold equipping ministries to provide opportunities for individuals to encounter God in deeper more meaningful ways so they can be freed up to put all their hope and trust in God, to walk in the Spirit and live by faith, and to realize their full potential in Christ to preach the Gospel, and to encourage, strengthen and comfort the Church.
